Valentine's Day can serve as a not-so-friendly reminder to people without romantic partners of just how single they are.
This year it's been months of near total isolation & please... I just want a hug.
So what do you do if you are feeling crummy on the day that other people are spelling out “I love you” to each other? Well, remember several things.
I really try to make Valentine’s Day about love in general, and not about romantic love, having a partner, or being in a romantic relationship! Consider celebrating the varied loves of your life: your friends, your family, your furry companions, and, most of all, YOURSELF!
Run yourself a bubble bath complete with wine, candles, and the book you can't put down. Do something nice for yourself because self-love doesn't prevent you from caring about others; it simply means you can give yourself the same kindness that you give to others.
Isle of View, brings together: boat rides, fireworks, kissing booths, forest walks, and more. Just have fun with all the options out there, you're bound to find something that takes the edge off — and possibly even allows you to enjoy the day.
